TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions are issued by Emergency Cards Limited ("Emergency Cards") and are effective from 3 June 2024 and cover the use of our website www.emergencycards.co.nz and associated mobile applications. ‘Use’ includes visits to and purchases on our website. These Terms and Conditions apply to you when you use our website. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, and in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.

Our website is intended to provide information for people shopping for our products and accessing our services, including making purchases via our website and if applicable registering on our database. Whilst we endeavour to supply accurate information on this website, errors and omissions may occur. Emergency Cards Limited does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this site. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the content on, or accessed, through this site. Emergency Cards Limited reserves the right to make changes to the content on this site at any time and without notice. To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Emergency Cards Limited makes no warranties in relation to the merchantability, fitness for purpose, freedom from computer virus, accuracy or availability of this website.

ORDERING GOODS FROM US

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods or services. An order is placed on our website by adding a product or products to the shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process. The checkout process includes giving us delivery and any other relevant details for your order that may include, but not limited to, personal information (please see our Privacy Policy), a Community Code (if applicable), confirmation of your agreement to our Terms and Conditions which also includes our Privacy Policy, entering payment information and submitting your order. The final step consists of a Confirmation page with full details of your order before submitting and proceeding to payment. Upon confirmation of order and processing of payment an email will be sent to the email address you designated through the order process as confirmation of your order and payment.

We do not supply trade quantities and may reserve the right to limit the number of an item customers can purchase in a single transaction.

REFUSING OR CANCELLING ORDERS BY EMERGENCY CARDS LIMITED

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order or orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to be placed for commercial purposes, e.g. any kind of reseller, or to have been placed fraudulently, or that contain any inappropriate content. While we endeavour to ensure that the price and description of goods or services is accurate, if there is an error in the process of listing a product or service on our website or a technical error in the processing of your order, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order. Our right to cancel an order or orders also applies to orders that have been confirmed and paid for, or any order or orders placed for a delivery address outside of New Zealand. Where an order is refused or cancelled you will be notified, and a full refund will follow.

We currently accept payments via Stripe secure payment gateway.

PRICING

All prices listed on www.emergencycards.co.nz are in New Zealand dollars. Please note that we reserve the right to alter prices on our website at any time for any reason and without prior notice.

WEBSITE AND CREDIT CARD SECURITY

We want you to have a safe and secure shopping experience online. All payments via our website are processed using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, whereby sensitive information is encrypted to protect your privacy. You can help to protect your details from unauthorised access by not saving any payment information in the instance that you may be asked to do so, at any time whilst using the site, particularly if you are doing so from a public or shared computer.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

Currently, we only deliver to NZ Post recognised addresses. For full information on delivery lead-times, method, damaged or misplaced goods please refer to our Delivery Information. To ensure successful delivery, please provide clear and full delivery instructions and address details. Insufficient or incorrect information may result in your order not reaching you on time or at all for which Emergency Cards Limited will not be held liable.

RETURNS, REFUNDS, EXCHANGES, CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

As your purchase is made specifically and uniquely for you with customised information as provided by you, your order cannot be returned or exchanged if you change your mind. However, if within 24 hours of placing your order you require changes to be made, please contact us immediately on contact@emergencycards.co.nz to arrange for this free of charge. Changes made after this time will be deemed to be a new order and charged accordingly with payment processed and received in full before the order is fulfilled. If you wish to cancel your order you can do so within 24 hours of placing your order and you will receive a full refund. You can contact us at contact@emergencycards.co.nz to do so. Orders cannot be cancelled, or amendments made after 24 hours of placing your order due to production timeframes. Should your products reach you in an unsatisfactory condition or is not the product that you ordered, and as per the Consumer Guarantees Act, we will gladly work with you to find a suitable and mutually agreeable solution. FUNDRAISING

By registering for fundraising you agree that this arrangement is not legally binding and that either party may cancel the arrangement at any time and without notice or reason. Where stipulated at time of Check-Out if a Community Code is used, a percentage of the proceeds from the sale will be direct credited into the associated nominated bank account once a month. Emergency Cards Limited may pursue recovery of any funds paid out where the details provided at anytime including during account setup and registration were later proven to be fraudulent.

ACCESSING OUR WEBSITE

Other than connecting to Emergency Cards Limited website by HTTPS requests using a web browser, you may not gain access to Emergency Cards Limited website servers. You agree not to disrupt, modify or interfere with our website or services and their associated software, hardware and servers in any way. You also agree not to modify any content or service on the Emergency Cards Limited website. Furthermore, you agree not to use our site in any inappropriate or unlawful way.

Emergency Cards Limited own all copyright and other intellectual property in and on this website. Everything in and on this website, unless otherwise stated, is copyright.
